Steve Dunn

Steve Dunn has extensive experience in sales and technical management within the chemical and materials sectors. Since September 2019, Steve has been self-employed as a consultant and is retired. Previously, Steve served as Sales Manager at Timcal Graphite and Carbon and Technical Service Manager at Birla Carbon from March 2016 to September 2019, where responsibilities included managing key plastics accounts across 100 countries and providing training and technical advice to distributors. At Imerys Minerals, from June 2012 to January 2016, Steve worked as Applications Development Manager, overseeing innovation projects for the plastics, coatings, and inks market, and producing training sessions. Steve held the position of Technical Sales Manager at both Imerys (December 2004 - April 2010) and BASF (July 1989 - December 1999). Education includes a degree in Chemistry and Chemical Technology from The University of Manchester and a Level 4 certification in Suicide First Aid from City and Guilds.
