Abdó Roig

Abdó Roig, Ph.D., is a Machine Learning Specialist at IMIDomics, where he applies AI techniques in the context of drug discovery for immune-mediated inflammatory diseases. Dr. Roig has worked on building machine learning solutions since 2017 in the context of video analytics, 3D computer vision, and robotics, and served as director of engineering at a robotics startup company. He combines theoretical knowledge of the mathematics underlying machine learning techniques, with solid software engineering skills. Dr. Roig earned a Ph.D. in mathematics from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya in 2016 and has always been fascinated by technology.
