Ash is a PhD student at the UC Santa Cruz. He has extensive development experience in machine learning from bio-inspired robotics to rehabilitation movement and modeling. He previously has worked on robots with adjustable dynamic properties and analyzing neural data from lab-grown cortical organoids (miniature brain-like). His focus is on generalization in algorithmic design, using data driven approaches to quantify uncertainty. Robbins holds two BS degrees in Robotics and Cognitive Science focusing on artificial intelligence and human robot interaction.
