Carla Consolini

Carla Consolini is an experienced educator and curriculum developer currently serving as Curriculum and Assessment Manager and Immersive VR Spanish Instructor at Immerse since October 2022. Additionally, Carla is a Teaching Associate at the University of Oregon, where responsibilities include being the instructor of record for various linguistics and Spanish courses. With a strong research background from the Center for Applied Second Language Studies, Carla has contributed to innovative language learning projects. Previous roles include Technology Integration Specialist at The Language Flagship Technology Innovation Center, Spanish Teaching Associate at Ohio University, and multiple freelance translation positions. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Applied Linguistics from the University of Oregon and two master's degrees in Applied Linguistics and Hispanic Literature and Linguistics from Ohio University.
