Misty Wilson, Ed.D., serves as the Chief Learning Officer and Head of Education at Immerse since March 2022, where Wilson established the Education department and collaborates with cross-functional teams to enhance immersive language learning experiences. Prior to this role, Wilson was the Program Development and Research Manager at IELTS USA, focusing on partnerships and language assessment literacy. Experience also includes leadership as the Director of the SCAD Language Studio, where Wilson oversaw a program for over 600 students, and various instructional roles at Baptist University of the Américas and Texas A&M University-San Antonio. Wilson holds a Doctor of Education degree from Northeastern University, as well as a Master of Arts and Bachelor of Arts in English from The University of Texas at San Antonio.
