Alberto Janza

Alberto Janza has worked in a variety of roles in the technology industry since 2006. In 2006, they worked as a Java Developer at Bahía Software, developing an administrative web application for the government of Galicia autonomy. In 2007, they worked as a Developer at A Coruña University, creating a e-learning platform with modular architecture and Ruby on Rails. From 2008 to 2011, they worked at BetyByte, first as a Senior RoR Developer and then as Technical Director. During their time at BetyByte, they developed a social networking platform for Telefónica, designed and developed a multimedia management component, and managed technical solutions according to client requirements. From 2011 to 2017, they worked at Novotorium as CTO, where they created and managed a remote tech force, structured the tech towards high productivity and scalability, and organized independent and cross-functional teams. Finally, they are currently working as VP Of Infrastructure at Immersed [Techstars '17].

Alberto Janza obtained a MS in Computer Science from Universidade da Coruña between 2000 and 2006. Alberto also holds certifications from Scrum Alliance as a Scrum Master Certified (SMC), obtained in December 2018, as well as certificates from edX for Statistical Thinking for Data Science and Analytics and Programming with Python for Data Science.
