Erik Maltais

CEO at Immertec

Erik Maltais is the current CEO at Immertec. Erik has also previously worked at Bunker Labs, IMMERTEC, and BBQ-aid. At BBQ-aid, they were the founder and led the company from February 2016 to February 2019. Prior to that, Erik served on the White House Advance Team security detail for the president of the United States during the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, China. Erik also served as a Marine Embassy Guard with the U.S. Department of State from January 2006 to November 2009. Erik is a veteran of Operation Iraqi/Enduring Freedom and has also worked as a personal security detail (gunner) from January 2005 to December 2006.

Erik Maltais holds a Bachelor's Degree from the University of South Florida in Accounting and Economics. Erik also participated in Semester at Sea through the University of Virginia, studying Global Studies. In addition, they hold an Associate's Degree in Applied Science and Technologies from Central Texas College.
