Marc Planell

Marc Planell has a diverse work experience in finance and accounting roles. Marc currently serves as the VP of Finance at Immfly since July 2021. Prior to that, from 2019 to 2021, they worked as the Vice President of Corporate Services at CJP Group.

From 2015 to 2019, Marc was the Finance Manager at INLEA, where they played a key role in redesigning project control procedures, implementing ERP and CRM systems, and establishing cash flow control and multi-currency cash-pooling systems. Marc also had responsibilities in strategic development, compliance, financial analysis, and payroll management.

From 2011 to 2015, Marc worked at Softonic, first as the Head of Controlling and later as the Head of Corporate FP&A. In these roles, they led the restructuring of the budget process, modeled budget scenarios and business plans, and supervised cost reduction initiatives. Marc also managed FP&A processes, risk detection, and provided performance analysis and reporting.

Before Softonic, Marc was a Senior Auditor at Pleta auditores consultores from 2005 to 2011, where they led audit engagements. Marc also had previous experience as an Administrative Assistant at Benders Paper Cups and an Accountant at I3e IT Resources. Marc started their career as an Administrative and Accountant Assistant at Meditempus ETT, S.A.

Throughout their career, Marc has demonstrated strong financial and strategic skills, implemented process improvements, and achieved notable accomplishments in budgeting, cost reduction, system implementation, and cash flow management.

Marc Planell's education history is as follows:

In 1998 to 2003, Marc attended the Universitat de Barcelona, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics.

In 2003, Marc enrolled in the Business Administration program at Bremerhaven University of Applied Sciences.

From 2005 to 2006, Marc pursued a Post Graduate Course in Accountancy at Col.legi de Censors de Comptes Jurats de Catalunya.

In 2006 to 2007, Marc studied at Goethe Institut Barcelona, where they completed the Zentrale Mittelstufenprüfung.

In 2010 to 2011, Marc pursued a Master's degree in EMBA at Esade.

In 2011, Marc attended the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University for the Leadership Development Program - WSOM.

The same year in 2011, Marc also studied Business Development at Fudan University.

Additionally, Marc has obtained the certification of Certified Public Accountant through the Registro Oficial de Auditores de Cuentas institution. The specific month and year of obtaining this certification are not provided.
