John Trainer

John Trainer has extensive experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, holding key leadership positions including Chief Operating Officer at Immunocore and Chief Financial Officer at NexImmune, Inc. Previously, John held multiple roles at MedImmune, such as Vice President and Head of Partnering and Strategy, and also served as Vice President of Corporate Development at AstraZeneca. John began their career in business development at MedImmune, advancing to the roles of Executive Director and Director. Academically, John earned an AB in Social Anthropology from Harvard University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
