Kate Atkin

Kate Atkin is an Associate Director of the Antibody Platform at Immunocore, where they lead the development of early phase oncology and infectious diseases pipeline programs. Kate's previous roles at Immunocore included Senior Scientist and Group Leader, focusing on protein science and T cell receptor engineering. Earlier in their career, Kate served as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of York, investigating pathogenic bacteria's interactions with human hosts. They also worked as a Research Scientist at Avecia Biotechnology, contributing to vaccine development and protein characterization. Kate holds a PhD in Structural Biology from the University of York, along with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Southampton.
