Matthew Sleeman is an experienced leader in the field of immunology and autoimmune research. Currently serving as Vice President and Head of Autoimmunity Research at Immunocore since November 2025, Sleeman previously held the position of Chief Scientific Officer at Mestag Therapeutics for a brief period in 2025. Notably, from July 2016 to November 2025, Sleeman worked at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc., where roles included Executive Director and Vice President of Immunology & Inflammation. Prior to this, Sleeman was Senior Director of Biology at MedImmune from January 2007 to June 2016, and Head of Biology at Cambridge Antibody Technology from 2004 to 2006. Early in his career, Sleeman served as a Senior Scientist at Genesis Research & Development Corp, Ltd from 1995 to 2001.
