Debasis Panda

Debasis Panda, D.V.M., Ph.D., currently serves as the Director of Regulatory Affairs-CMC at Immunovant, focusing on regulatory CMC strategy for biologics and global submissions. Previously, Debasis held roles including Associate Director at Immunovant and Senior Manager of Regulatory CMC at Tessa Therapeutics Ltd, where responsibilities included CAR-T regulatory strategies and FDA interactions. At the FDA, Debasis worked as a Regulatory CMC Reviewer, specializing in oral immunotherapy biologics and contributing to the approval of the BLA for Palforzia. Prior research experience includes a Virology Research Fellowship at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, where leadership of interdisciplinary projects led to the identification of novel immune pathways, and a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania, focusing on virus-host interactions. Debasis holds a PhD in Molecular Virology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, a Master’s degree in Veterinary Medicine from the Indian Veterinary Research Institute, and a Bachelor of Veterinary Sciences from Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology.
