David Romenesko holds a Master of Science in Physical Chemistry from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. From 1974 to 2004, they served as a Gallery Scientist at Dow Corning Corporation, where they invented materials and earned 43 US patents. They established Tempo Investment Advisors in 1986, which became their primary profession until the merger that formed Legacy Wealth Advisors, where they retired as a partner in 2022. Currently, Romenesko is the Chairman of Personal Positioning Technologies LLC and serves on the boards of multiple organizations focusing on innovative technologies and educational initiatives.
