Lucy joined the FleishmanHillard Dubai office in May 2012 in order to help develop the team and grow operations in the UAE and the Middle East region. She has 22 years of PR experience, 15 of which were dedicated to corporate communications. Lucy was appointed leader of UAE operations in September 2014, and now manages a team of 16 in the UAE and Saudi Arabia. She was awarded PRCA MENA Leader of the Year in 2018, and FleishmanHillard’s own John D. Graham Award in 2015.
Since moving to the Middle East, Lucy has supported clients such as Aramco, the Ministry of Energy, Industry and Mineral Resources of Saudi Arabia, Atomenergoprom, Lukoil Overseas, Qaiwan Group, Samsung Gulf Electronics, Emerson, Huawei Enterprise, Booz Allen Hamilton, RAKIA, International Fund for Houbara Conservation, INSEAD, Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority (SAGIA), Western Union, UBS, Bose and Verifone.
Lucy has advised a number of clients on how to approach communications during a crisis. The issues she has advised clients upon include product and safety failings; litigation by members of the public; accidents and critical injury in the workplace; employee industrial action; workplace restructuring, and contagious illness outbreaks. She has also advised several clients organising global events on geo-political issues affecting the events.
Before joining FleishmanHillard’s Middle East operations, Lucy was based in Slovenia from 2011 to 2012 where she pursued a freelance PR career working with technology clients. From 2000 to 2010, Lucy was a director in the FleishmanHillard London technology practice.
Lucy graduated from St. Hilda’s College, Oxford University, with a Master of Arts degree with 2.1 honors class in English literature. She was awarded the Marion Hewitt College Scholarship.
