Roger Liew is a Partner at Impact Engine. Roger has a long history leading technical teams at multiple startup companies based in Chicago. He most recently served as the Chief Technology Officer at ShopRunner. His tenure involved building a brand new company and technology leadership team and the relocation of headquarters to Chicago. Prior to ShopRunner, he was the Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer for Orbitz Worldwide.

Roger joined Orbitz, LLC in 2000 as the startup’s vice president of technology. As the company’s fifth employee, he led the team that built the original technological infrastructure for the official launch of Orbitz.com in June 2001. He left Orbitz in 2004 to co-found G2 Switchworks, a startup in the travel technology space which was acquired by Travelport in 2008.

Roger studied Math/Computer Science at the University of Chicago.
