Skyler Tom

Skyler Tom has a diverse and extensive work experience. They are currently working at Impactive as the Lead Engineer, a position they have held since September 2021. Before Impactive, Skyler worked at Tinyhood, Inc. for several years in various roles. From February 2021 to April 2021, they held the position of Director of Engineering & Lead Architect, where they built a new graphQL API and oversaw React Native development. From March 2019 to February 2021, Skyler was the Lead Software Architect, working closely with the CTO and CEO to plan and implement new products. Prior to that, from March 2018 to March 2019, they served as the Lead Software Engineer, focusing on Rails server optimization and data migration. They started their career at Tinyhood, Inc. as a Software Engineer from July 2016 to March 2018, where they worked on building features, implementing payment systems, and developing new core products.

In addition to their experience at Tinyhood, Inc., Skyler also worked as a Software Engineering Intern at the Consortium of Universities for the Advancement of Hydrologic Science, Inc. (CUAHSI) in 2014 and as a Software Engineering Intern at Tufts University in 2015. They also gained valuable teaching experience as a Computer Science Teaching Assistant at Tufts University from 2013 to 2015.

Skyler Tom attended Tufts University from 2012 to 2016, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science.
