Claude Forthomme is an economist and ESG expert currently serving as the ESG Director, Senior Editor, and columnist at Impakter Magazine since 2014. Previously, they worked at the United Nations' FAO, concluding their career as Regional Representative for Europe and Central Asia, and later as the Deputy Observer for the Sovereign Order of Malta at UN agencies. Claude is also a published author, having written both fiction and non-fiction, and a figurative painter, participating in various exhibitions. They hold an M.A. in Economics from Columbia University and are currently pursuing a BS in economics at Barnard College.
