Paula Sinclair

Advisory Committee Member at Impala

Paula Sinclair is currently an Advisory Committee Member at Impala, but they have held many other notable positions in the past. From January 2015 to December 2016, Paula was a Development and Communications Consultant at JCDS, Boston's Jewish Community Day School. In this role, Paula was responsible for managing the signature fundraising event for the school, which featured 18 simultaneous dinners around Boston. Paula was also responsible for drafting and editing the invitation booklet, supervising staff, and working with dinner hosts and invited guests to ensure the evening was a fundraising and community-building success.

From January 2013 to December 2015, Paula was the Director of Programs and Partnerships at the Jewish Women's Archive (JWA). As Director of Programs and Partnerships, Paula oversaw the development, implementation, and evaluation of public and education-related programs at JWA. Paula also developed new partnerships and piloted new programs, including a national teen fellowship, a collaboration with a national museum, and blog partnerships that received thousands of monthly pageviews. Additionally, Paula wrote grant proposals that had a funding rate of over 75% and leveraged and revised existing content to reach new audiences via social media.

Paula has also managed an internship program and interviewed candidates for new organizational roles. Paula has represented the organization at national conferences.

Paula Sinclair received their Masters of International Affairs from Columbia's School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) with a concentration in Near and Middle Eastern Studies. Paula also holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Theirtory from Emory University.
