Casey Charron

Casey Charron is a seasoned engineer with substantial experience in impact protection product development across various sectors, including sports, automotive, and defense. As Co-Founder and Lead Engineer at impctLAB since March 2023, Casey drives innovation in product design. Previously, as a Project Engineer at Windpact from September 2020 to March 2023, responsibilities included developing patented impact protection technology, managing project milestones, optimizing product performance through analysis, and liaising with manufacturing partners. Experience at Virginia Tech Helmet Ratings as an Undergraduate Test Engineer involved conducting critical impact tests and data analysis related to concussion risks. An educational background with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech complements a strong technical foundation.
