Serena Cheng

Serena Cheng has a wealth of professional experience. Serena began their career in 1998 as a Product Marketing Engineer at KLA-Tencor. In 2005, they founded OneWorld Medical Devices and served as CEO. In 2006, they joined Apple as a Mac and iPad Product Marketing Manager. In 2011, they moved to Google as a Senior Business Product Manager for Chrome OS and Android. In 2014, they became the Business and Product Strategy Director at WEST, where they worked with clients such as Jawbone, Twitter, Square, Braintree, Anki, and Impossible Foods. In 2017, they became a Leadfully Leadership Advisor at SYPartners. In 2019, they became an Innovation Consultant and Workshop Leader at SVA Innovation. In 2020, they co-founded Impello with their partner Bevis and serves as the Chief Product Officer. At Impello, they created the 'Self Design Studio' product to guide employee professional development.

Serena Cheng is currently a PhD Candidate at California Institute of Integral Studies in the field of Integral Business Education. Serena previously obtained their MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management in 2006, and a Graduate Certificate in Interactive Media and Graphic Design from the University of California, Berkeley in 2004. Serena also holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, which they obtained in 1997. In 1995 and 1996, they studied Chemical Engineering and Mandarin at Tsinghua University. Additionally, they have two certifications: an Ayurveda Theory and Therapy certification from the Institute of Ayurveda and Alternative Medicine, obtained in May 2017, and a Yoga Instructor certification from Yoga Alliance, obtained in February 2012.
