Roy Wu

Roy (Weiran) Wu is a Staff Mechanical Engineer at Telos Health, where they are currently developing medical robotics technology to improve outcomes for ischemic stroke. Previously, they served as a Senior R&D Engineer at Noah Medical, contributing to the development of next-generation medical robotics for bronchoscopy. Roy's experience also includes roles as a Product Design Engineer and Mechanical Design Engineer at Medtronic, where they focused on hardware for glucose sensors and insulin infusion systems. They have completed internships at Hoovy and Dassault Systèmes, enhancing their engineering skills early in their career. Roy is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, a Master's degree in the same field from the University of Southern California, and a certificate in Medical Device Engineering from UCLA.
