Head of Marketing at Imperative

Emma Powers is the current Head of Marketing at Imperative. Emma previously worked at IBM from July 2020 to September 2021 as the Program Director for Account Based Marketing. In this role, they led worldwide ABM programming for IBM's top customers and Cloud and Cognitive business segments. Prior to that, they were the Team Lead for Account Based Marketing for IBM Data and AI from January 2019 to July 2020. In this role, they were responsible for driving worldwide account growth and revenue acceleration via targeted high touch and digital marketing activities. Emma has also held the position of Marketing Team Lead for Watson Discovery Portfolio from March 2018 to January 2019 and Watson Product Marketing from October 2017 to March 2018. Prior to their work in marketing, Emma worked as part of IBM Market Development & Insights from June 2016 to October 2017. Emma started their career as an MBA Summer Associate at Philips Norelco from June 2015 to August 2015.

Emma Powers completed their undergraduate degree at Bowdoin College, where they studied psychology, art history, and earned a B.A. Emma then went on to attend Yale University's Yale School of Management, where they obtained their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.)
