Principal Solutions Architect at Imperium Data

Chris Tuska has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over two decades.

In 2000, they worked as a Network Engineer at IBM Global Services, where they provided technical support for a class-A Universal Server Farm and served as the primary network and firewall support for clients such as Price Waterhouse, Nissan, and Target.

From 2001 to 2010, Chris served as a Senior Network Engineer and Team Leader at StarTek, taking on a leadership role in network engineering.

At Comcast, Chris held multiple roles between 2010 and 2015. As an IPv6 Network Engineer and Developer, they played a crucial role in converting devices in the field from IPv4 to IPv6, resulting in significant savings for the company. Chris also served as a Senior Network Engineer, contributing to the national Cable Modem Termination System (CMTS) team and focusing on firmware upgrades, automation, and network management.

From 2011 to 2018, Chris was a member of the IPv6 Deployment Working Group at the Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers (SCTE), contributing their expertise to the advancement of IPv6 deployment.

During their time at ARRIS from 2015 to 2018, Chris worked as a Sales Architecture Engineer, collaborating with customers to identify their needs and provide solutions. Chris also automated various processes, including firmware upgrades and DOCSIS issues.

At Cisco, Chris worked as a Systems Engineer from 2018 to 2019, collaborating with the data center sales team to design and sell Cisco datacenter and private cloud solutions to customers.

From 2019 to 2022, Chris joined Blue Stream Fiber as the Director of Network Engineering, where they designed, built, managed, and maintained a best-in-class network for customers. Chris ensured customers had access to up to 10G symmetrical speeds of service for internet, fiber optics, TV, and phone services.

In 2022, Chris worked as the Vice President of Network Engineering at a stealth startup, overseeing network engineering operations. And in 2023, they became a Strategic Advisor at the same company, providing guidance and expertise in strategic decision-making.

Most recently, in 2023, Chris joined Imperium Data as a Principal Solutions Architect. In this critical role, they design and implements effective solutions for customers in various industries, utilizing their deep understanding of unique business requirements and challenges.

Chris Tuska attended Aims Community College from 2006 to 2010, earning an Associate of Science in Computer Information Systems (AS CIS) with a major in Computer Science. Following this, Chris enrolled in Colorado Technical University in 2010, studying Computer Science, although the specific degree obtained is not provided. In terms of certifications, Chris obtained the Cisco certification from Cisco in January 2008, the RHCE certification from Red Hat in January 2013, the IPv6 Engineer certification from the IPv6 Forum in January 2012, the JNCIS certification from Juniper Networks in September 2014, the Emergency First Response Instructor (CPR/AED/First Aid) certification from PADI in January 2019, the Master Scuba Diver Trainer certification from PADI in June 2019, and finally, the JJ CCR Air Diluent Diver certification from TDI in February 2022.
