Eric Mielke

Eric Mielke has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Eric started their career in the US Army as a Corporal and served until 1999. After that, they gained expertise as a Structural Drafter at Spancrete, where they developed erection drawings and provided technical support for AutoCAD.

In 1999, Eric worked as a Computer and Telephone Network Cabling Specialist at RAM Technology Inc. for a brief period. Eric then joined Chaney Systems as a Network Administrator, where they handled various responsibilities such as network servicing and support, implementing IT projects, and administering Client-Server and Peer-to-Peer networks.

Moving forward, Eric joined FIRSTECH Network Services Group in 2004, initially as a Senior Network Engineer and later as a Principal Network Engineer. During their tenure, they worked on projects involving network cabling installations, troubleshooting computer equipment, and securing customer networks.

In 2012, Eric joined predictiveIT (formerly Westshore Technologies) as a Senior Network Engineer III, vCIO, and Professional Services engineer. In this role, they continued to provide network support and implemented 3rd party software on servers.

From 2018 to 2020, Eric worked as a Principal Network Engineer at FIRSTECH Network Services Group. Eric then became a Senior Professional Services Engineer at Newgentek from 2020 to 2022, focusing on providing professional services to clients.

Currently, Eric works as a Senior MSP Engineer at Imperium Data, starting in 2022.

Eric Mielke began their education in 1997 at ITT Technical Institute, where they pursued an AAS degree in Computer Aided Design and Drafting. Eric completed their program in 1998. Eric then enrolled in Milwaukee Area Technical College in 1999 and completed Continuing Education Coursework in Information Technology in 2002.

In addition to their formal education, Eric has obtained various certifications. Eric became a VMware Certified Professional - Desktop Management in 2023, an Azure Certified Administrator Associate in 2022, and an Azure Teams Administrator Associate in 2021. Eric also holds certifications such as Certified Meraki Networking Associate (CMNA), Cisco Certified Networking Associate (CCNA) 1.0, Citrix Certified Administrator Metaframe 1.8 CCA, Citrix Certified Administrator Presentation Server 4.5 CCA, Citrix Certified Administrator XenApp 6.0 CCA, Citrix Certified Associate (CCA)- Virtualization 7, CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Information Technology Professional (MCITP): Enterprise Administrator 2008, Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA): Windows Server 2012, Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE): Core Infrastructure - Windows Server 2016, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE)- 2000 & 2003, VMware Certified Professional (VCP) 4.x, and VMware Certified Professional (VCP)- Data Center Virtualization 5.x.
