Tom Ott

Tom Ott is a seasoned digital designer with significant experience in chip design and verification leadership, currently serving as a Senior Staff Digital Designer at Impinj since November 2018. Prior to this role, Tom spent over five years at Intel Corporation, where responsibilities included researching hardware security measures and developing design methodologies. Early career positions included technical management at The Daily Californian, an internship at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory focusing on high-performance computing applications, and a lab assistant role at UC Berkeley, supporting students in computer science. Tom holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
