David Crowe

David T. Crowe, Ph.D., is the VP of Research & Development at Implicit Bioscience, where they lead drug discovery teams focused on target selection, validation, optimization, and pre-clinical development. With extensive experience in both start-up and established biotech companies, they have successfully advanced various therapeutic modalities from discovery to in vivo proof of concept. Crowe's strong therapeutic focus encompasses autoimmune, fibrotic, and neurodegenerative indications, and they have demonstrated effective leadership in directing research efforts and mentoring teams. In addition to their role at Implicit Bioscience, they serve as a New Ventures Mentor at the University of Washington Center for Commercialization. Crowe holds a Ph.D. in Cell & Molecular Biology from Baylor College of Medicine and is currently engaged in post-doctoral research at Stanford University School of Medicine.
