Yuliia Nikolaenko

Yuliia Nikolaenko has worked in various roles in the fields of data science, artificial intelligence, and research data analysis. In 2022, they began working as a Data Scientist Junior at Implicity and as an Artificial Intelligence Intern at Therapixel, where they were responsible for developing self-supervised learning (SSL) models for breast cancer diagnosis and integrating the method for pre-training convnets into Therapixel's codebase. In 2021, they were a Data Scientist Intern at Institut Pasteur, where they developed an open-source engine for data challenges and deployed and optimized ML predictive models for medical data classification. Yuliia was also a Teaching Assistant at Learning Planet Institute, where they were responsible for student recruitment, developing a syllabus, and providing courses on Python for data analysis and visualization. Additionally, they were a Data Scientist Intern at Sciences Po, where they collected data by implementing automated web-scraping utilities, built a supervised NLP classification model, and created a data analytical summary and visualization open-source dashboard. In 2018, they were a Research Data Analyst Intern at Aleksanteri Institute, University of Helsinki, where they were responsible for open government data collection and deployment of multi-modal data classification and integration methods. Yuliia Nikolaenko has a diverse educational background. Yuliia completed a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and Social Informatics from the Higher School of Economics between 2013 and 2017. Yuliia then completed an Exchange Study in Social Sciences at Masaryk University Brno from 2016 to 2017. Following this, they completed a Master Studies in Digital Humanities from the University of Helsinki from 2018 to 2019. Yuliia then completed a Master of Science in Digital Sciences from Université Paris Cité between 2020 and 2022. Additionally, they have obtained certifications from the University of Michigan, Google, and the University of Amsterdam.
