Ying Hua is currently the Founder and CEO of Implied, a role they have held since 2023. Prior to this, they served as a Portfolio Manager at Balyasny Asset Management L.P., where they built and led a team focused on US insurance and fintech investments from 2020 to 2023. Ying’s previous experience includes positions as an Analyst at Citadel LLC and an Equity Research Associate at Goldman Sachs. Ying holds a Master’s degree in Data Science from UC Berkeley and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
