Richmond Sim

Richmond Sim has a diverse work experience spanning eight years. In 2022, they began their role as Product Manager at ImportGenius.com. In 2020, they joined 917Ventures as a Venture Builder and Venture Strategist. As Venture Builder, they were responsible for program delivery management and commercial head of early-stage businesses. As Venture Strategist, they performed qualitative and quantitative market research and provided tactical support to accelerate the growth and improve processes of early-stage ventures. In 2020, they also joined Navagis Inc. as a Support Engineer, where they were responsible for ensuring that all technology systems were properly running in accordance with service level agreements. In 2018, they joined GCash (Mynt - Globe Fintech Innovations, Inc.) as a Software Engineer, where they wrote and maintained Java-based software for customer payment and merchant settlement systems. In 2016, they joined Ateneo Electronics and Computer Engineering Society as President, where their main agenda was to pivot the organization's vision towards the wider scope of engineering and innovation. In 2014, they joined Baybayin Ateneo as Vice President for Communications and Associate Vice President for Communications, where they were responsible for enforcing a communications mechanism to maintain the organization's brand identity and expand their presence in less traditional channels.

Richmond Sim's education history includes a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Ateneo de Manila University, which they obtained from 2013 to 2018. Richmond also completed a research internship in Computer Engineering at Chung Yuan Christian University in 2017. Additionally, Sim has obtained several certifications, including Six Sigma Foundations from LinkedIn in July 2022, Alipay+ Development Certification - Expert 2 from Ant Group in October 2019, Applied Data Science with R - Level 2 from IBM in March 2019, Remote Work and Virtual Collaboration Professional Certificate from CertiProf in February 2021, Scrum Foundations Professional Certificate from CertiProf in August 2020, and EdTech Industry Insider Certification from Started in May 2021.
