Russell Theron

Russell Theron has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Russell is currently the VP Global Partnerships & Alliances at Impossible Cloud, where they set the strategic direction for the company's global go-to-market approach and cultivates partnerships with corporations in the cloud solutions space. Prior to this, they served as the Non-Executive Chairman at Letsgoo (Pty) Ltd, where they developed the business plan, products, and recruited the executive team.

Before Letsgoo, Russell gained experience in the technology industry, working as the Regional Director APAC and MEA at Sunbird Software, where they established regional offices and developed sales presence across multiple regions. Russell also held the role of Regional Manager - Datacenter Group at Lenovo, leading the Datacenter team and driving growth and profitability.

In the earlier stages of their career, Russell worked at Emerson Network Power, Datacenter Solutions, as a Regional Manager for the Middle East and Africa, where they drove significant growth and extended product reach. Russell also served as a Corporate Account Manager at QDS Qatar, where they achieved major wins in solution sales.

Russell's experience also includes roles at Corporate Management Systems as a Senior Key Account Manager and at PerseTel Q Data Africa Holdings as a Corporate Account Manager. Russell began their career at Unisys as an Account Manager, managing customer installations and developing client relationships.

Throughout their career, Russell has demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, business development, sales, and partnership management.

Russell Theron pursued their education from 1987 to 1990 at the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika. During this time, they worked towards obtaining a Bachelor of Commerce degree, specializing in Business Information Systems.
