Vision System Researcher at Impossible Mining

Ali Iskurt has worked in various roles in the field of computer science since 1997. In 1997, they began as a Researcher at TUBITAK. ali then moved on to Gebze Technical University in 2001, where they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant, researching signal and video/image processing with Matlab and Simulink toolboxes. In 2010, they became a University Lecturer at Kocaeli University. In 2011, they were hired as an Assistant Professor at Yildiz Technical University. In 2013, they were hired as an Associate Professor at Yalova University, where they instructed many courses, such as Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition. In 2017, they worked as a Teacher at a high school. In 2018, they began working at Vineland Research and Innovation Center as a Research Scientist, managing a team of 3 computer vision engineers at automation projects. Most recently, in 2021, they began working at Impossible Metals Inc. as a Vision System Researcher.

Ali Iskurt completed a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Bilkent University between 1992 and 1997. ali then went on to obtain a Master's degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Boğaziçi University between 1999 and 2002. Finally, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Kocaeli University.
