Bingran Cheng

Research Scientist, Bio-Extraction at Impossible Mining

Bingran Cheng has been working in the scientific field since 2011 when they began as a Research Assistant at the University of Delaware. In 2014, they became a Teaching Assistant at the University of Southern California. In 2017, they were a Teaching Assistant at the Marine Biological Laboratory. In 2020, they became a Scientist at Better Earth Agronomy. Currently, they are a Research Scientist, Bio-Extraction at Impossible Mining Inc.

Bingran Cheng received a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Marine Sciences from Xiamen University in 2007. From 2011 to 2013, they attended the University of Delaware where they earned a Master of Science (MS) in Marine Biology and Biological Oceanography. Bingran then went on to the University of Southern California, where they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Marine Biology and Biological Oceanography in 2020. Prior to their university studies, Bingran Cheng attended Changzhou Senior High School from 2004 to 2007.
