Steve Hoover has had an extensive career in the technology industry. In 2007, they became a Member of the Board of Directors for the Rochester Museum and Science Center. In 2011, they were appointed Chair of the Board and CEO of PARC, a Xerox Company. During their time as CEO, they grew open innovation business by more than 80%. In 2017, they were appointed CTO and Corporate Sr. Vice President of Xerox, with end-to-end responsibility for Xerox's innovation and technology strategies, productization roadmaps and product delivery, and technology partnership with Fuji-Xerox. Steve also had direct line management for the majority of Xerox's research and productization resources. In 2018, they were appointed Member of the Board of Trustees at the Rochester Institute of Technology. In 2019, they became Endowed Executive Director of the Global Cybersecurity Institute at RIT, and Co-Founder and CTO of artify.ai. In 2020, they were appointed Board Member of Consumer Reports, and in 2021 they were appointed Advisor at Evercloak Inc. Currently, they are Chief Executive Officer at Impossible Objects, Inc., where they are re-imagining the future of 3D printing with a breakthrough IP protected new 3D printing process, materials, and system.

Steve Hoover received their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and their B.S. in Engineering from Cornell University.
