Maria Bliznets

Maria Bliznets has a diverse work experience in the technology and media industry. Maria is currently working as an Engineering Director at Impress since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Condé Nast Russia for almost 9 years. During their time there, they held various roles including Director of Engineering, Project Manager, Web Analyst, and Advertising Operations Manager. In these roles, they managed teams of software engineers, data scientists, project managers, and QA specialists. Maria was responsible for coordinating and managing internal teams, managing the development and support of multiple services and platforms, implementing Agile methodologies, gathering product requirements, and creating tasks for software engineers. Maria also has experience in analyzing digital editions, working with App Store and Adobe Publisher, implementing push notifications and analytics services, as well as conducting technical testing of advertising materials. Before joining Condé Nast Russia, they worked as a Website Development Manager at Right Time.

Maria Bliznets has a diverse education history. Maria obtained their Engineer's Degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from Bauman Moscow State Technical University, where they studied from 2006 to 2012. In 2016, they attended Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business, where they focused on public policy. Maria completed a Master's degree in Psychology at Russian State Social University from 2020 to 2021.
