Roberto Fariñas has diverse work experience in various industries. Roberto'smost recent role is as a Tutor of Final Degree Grade "Analysis of Turbojet Compressor Stag" at UPC School since February 2021. Before that, Roberto worked as VP of Production (Manufacturing Manager) at Impress starting in December 2020. In this role, they were responsible for starting in-house production of aligners and searching for a suitable facility to expand production.
Prior to Impress, Roberto held the position of Associate University Professor at ETSEIAAT - UPC in 2018. Roberto also worked at LEITAT Technological Center from 2017 to 2020, where they served as the Production & Design for Manufacturing Manager, responsible for production management, data management, and the establishment of new production protocols. Additionally, they worked as a Part Designer for the Spanish Minister of University Pedro Duque and had a role in Design for Manufacturing.
Before joining LEITAT, Roberto worked at Sogeti as a Design For Manufacturing Consultant and a 3D Printing Expert. Roberto had advanced knowledge in 3D HP MJF Printing systems and parts design and modification for suitable printing in Additive Manufacturing.
Roberto's earlier work experience includes being a Private Tutor, where they provided instruction in subjects related to aerospace systems engineering and mathematics and physics. Roberto also volunteered at Fundació PAC, assisting with the restoration and maintenance of old airplanes. Roberto also had a brief experience as a Flight Dispatcher at Swissport.
In their personal projects, Roberto worked on designing an AURI R8 in Solidworks and also provided private tutoring in mathematics and physics for high school and university students.
Roberto Fariñas has a diverse educational background. In 2020-2021, they attended IMF Smart Education and obtained a Master's degree in Big Data and Business Analysis. Prior to that, from 2005 to 2014, Roberto studied at ETSEIAT and earned an Engineer's degree with a focus on aerospace engineering and space engineering. In 2004-2005, they completed their Bachillerato degree at IES Montjuïc, specializing in technology. Before that, from 2000 to 2005, Roberto pursued their ESO at IES Montjuïc with a general discipline. Furthermore, in 2019, Roberto acquired an additional certification in EASA Part M from SENASA.
