Laszlo Nagy

Laszlo Nagy has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Laszlo started their career in 1996 as an Analyst at the Ministerie van Justitie, Besturingseenheid. Laszlo then worked as a Management Consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers from 1998 to 2003. In 2004, they joined Woningcorporaties en commercieel vastgoed as an Adviser in the areas of risk management, audit, concern control, and fraud/integrity for housing corporations. At the same time, they also served as the Chairman and Editor-in-Chief of IIA Audit Magazine at IIA Nederland from 2004 to 2018.

In 2016, Laszlo became the Director of Business Risk Services at IMPROVEN Consulting, where they were responsible for governance, internal audit, risk management, and compliance services. Laszlo continued their role as Director when ConQuaestor Consulting acquired IMPROVEN Consulting. During this time, they specialized in areas such as internal/operational/IT audit, enterprise risk management, corporate governance, and ISAE3402.

Laszlo also worked as the Coordinator of Continuous Supervision (a.i) at Nederlands Register Vastgoed Taxateurs from December 2017 to July 2018. In 2019, they served as a Jury member for the IIA/SVRO Scriptie Award at IIA Nederland. Currently, Laszlo is working at Woonstad Rotterdam as an independent controller/concern controller/manager of internal audit (a.i), starting in January 2022.

Overall, Laszlo Nagy has extensive experience in various aspects of risk management, audit, governance, and compliance across different sectors such as real estate, public housing, public sector, law enforcement, banking, and insurance.

Laszlo Nagy has attended Erasmus University Rotterdam but did not complete a degree there. Laszlo also studied Financial Risk Management at the Amsterdam Institute of Finance. In addition, they attended Gemeentelijk Gymnasium Hilversum (GGH) but did not earn a degree there either. Laszlo Nagy has obtained certifications such as EMIA from the Erasmus School of Accounting & Assurance (ESAA) and Register Operational Auditor (RO) from IIA Nederland.
