Blake McMillan

Blake McMillan has a diverse work experience that spans over several industries and roles. Starting in 1996, McMillan worked as a Software Packaging and Distribution Consultant at Exxon Mobil, where they were responsible for packaging and deploying software and providing support. At Capital One, McMillan served as a Senior Business Systems Analyst Manager and later as an Operations Support Manager and IT Manager. In these roles, they contributed to successful project deliveries, improved processes, and led teams. McMillan then worked as the Director of IT at Rapp, where they reduced incidents and repaired a client relationship through process improvements and a remediation project. As a Management Consultant at Hurricane Group Inc., they provided consulting services. McMillan then transitioned to a Project Management Consultant role at RGP, where they built program and project dashboards, provided training and support, and assumed the Product Owner role for projects. At Fenway Group, they worked as a Senior Consultant and Scrum Master, improving transparency and coaching teams. McMillan also served as a Scrum Master at Toyota North America, implementing improvements and facilitating workshops. Blake then became a Professional Scrum Trainer at Scrum.org and a Professional Kanban Trainer at ProKanban.org, where they offered training and facilitated classes. Currently, McMillan is the Director of Training at Improving, focusing on creating trust and delivering results for clients.

Blake McMillan obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix, where they studied from 2008 to 2012.
