Jonathan Islas

Jonathan Islas has a diverse work experience, starting in 2018 when they worked as a Web/Mobile Developer at Instituto Tecnológico de Aguascalientes. During this time, they developed mobile applications in Ionic/React Native and websites for IoT projects. Jonathan then worked as a Web Developer at Charles & Charles in 2018, where they created and designed an eCommerce website, implemented chat functionality, and utilized APIs for purchases.

In 2020, Jonathan joined Nissan Motor Corporation as a Software Engineer, where they worked in the Manufacturing Strategy department. There, they developed a real-time dashboard of KPIs and created Tableau dashboards to analyze data and track production problems. Jonathan also connected different servers to ensure smooth operations.

Currently, Jonathan is working as a Full Stack Engineer at Improving since 2021. Jonathan is involved in the Trove project, serving innovative brands like Patagonia, Lululemon, and Gucci. Their responsibilities include upgrading packages, providing migration support, and working with technologies like Webpack, React, and Redux.

Jonathan Islas began their education in 2008 at Chivas San Marcos, where they pursued activities involving physical education and sports. Jonathan completed their studies at Chivas San Marcos in 2014.

In 2016, Jonathan enrolled at Instituto Tecnológico de Aguascalientes, where they pursued a degree in Information Technology Engineering. Jonathan completed their degree in this field of study in 2020.

Jonathan also obtained several additional certifications. In 2019, they obtained the "CCNA Routing & Switching: Connecting Networks" and "CCNA Security" certifications from Cisco. In 2020, they acquired certifications in "Comercio Electrónico" from Google Actívate, "R programming" from The Johns Hopkins University, and "Notifications RESTful API with HTTP and JavaScript" from Coursera. Additionally, they obtained certifications in "Modern JavaScript" from Coursera, "Python Data Analysis" from Rice University, and "Habilidades y competencias clave para el mundo profesional" from Santander Universidades in 2020. Furthermore, in 2020, Jonathan completed certifications in "Front-End Web UI Frameworks and Tools: Bootstrap 4" and "Front-End Web Development with React" from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, "CSS Animated Components with ReactJS" from Coursera, and "Getting Started with Google Kubernetes Engine" from Google. In 2020, they also obtained the certification "Desarrollo del lado servidor: NodeJS, Express y MongoDB" from Facultad de Ingeniería | Universidad Austral and "Master en CSS" from Udemy.

Most recently, in 2021, Jonathan acquired the certifications "Apache Kafka" from LinkedIn, "Building Containerized Applications on AWS" from Amazon Web Services (AWS), and "Java: Tricks" from LinkedIn. Jonathan also completed the certification "Learning Amazon Web Services Lambda" from LinkedIn and "React" from Udemy.
