Rene Larrave

Rene Larrave is an accomplished entrepreneur and educator with extensive experience in various industries. Currently serving as Executive Vice President at Improving since September 2025, Rene transitioned to this role following the acquisition of MangoChango and CommandHound, both of which were founded and led by Rene. As the Founder of MCA Academy, a non-profit organization, Rene provides computer programming training to students in the remote highlands of Guatemala. Additionally, Rene is an Adjunct Professor of Entrepreneurship at the SMU Cox School of Business, a member and past chair of YPO, and the CEO and Founder of several companies, including Calatestra Partners, Altenbach Partners, and Motopia Club. Rene holds an MBA from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Tecnológico de Monterrey.
