Yousset Chacon

Yousset Chacon has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Yousset is currently working as a Software Engineer at Improving, specifically in the shipping tool systems division for Canada Post. Yousset has actively participated in the migration and creation of the new NGTT architecture using Apache Camel.

Prior to joining Improving, Yousset worked as a Software Engineer at YoppWorks.

Before YoppWorks, Yousset was a Senior Software Developer at Despegar, where they developed and improved microservices using various technologies such as Go, Java, Scala, Spring Boot, and Guice. Yousset also created scripts to automate processes and developed custom tools and solutions for the marketing team using Java and React. Additionally, Yousset integrated with external providers like Google, Facebook, and TripAdvisor for report generation.

Prior to Despegar, Yousset worked as a Software Engineer at Mercadolibre.com, where they developed and improved microservices using Go, Java, Grails, Spring Boot, and Play Framework. Yousset also analyzed metrics to determine application performance.

Yousset also has experience as a Senior Developer at PagueloFacil (FOBP Investments), where they led the development team and actively participated in various stages of application development and maintenance.

Before that, Yousset worked as a Senior Java Developer at Y&V Consulting, where they provided Java and JEE-based application development and consulting services.

Yousset also has experience as a Project Leader at E-HUMAN Consultores C.A and as a Consultant at SPONTECORP.

Yousset Chacon completed their education from 2006 to 2012 at UNEFA, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with a specialization in Systems Engineering.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Yousset Chacon has obtained several certifications in various fields. In August 2021, they completed the "Lightbend Akka Cluster - Fundamentals" certification from Lightbend, Inc. Yousset also achieved the "Lightbend Akka for Scala - Professional" certification from the same institution in August 2021.

Furthermore, in July 2021, Yousset Chacon completed a series of certifications related to Reactive Architecture from Lightbend, Inc. These certifications include "Reactive Architecture(1): Introduction to Reactive Systems," "Reactive Architecture(2): Domain Driven Design," "Reactive Architecture(3): Reactive Microservices," "Reactive Architecture(4): Building Scalable Systems," "Reactive Architecture(5): Distributed Messaging Patterns," and "Reactive Architecture(6): CQRS & Event Sourcing."
