Steve Minar has a long history of work experience in the technology industry. Steve began their career in 1995 as the Owner, Consultant, and Senior Software Engineer at nTouch. In 1997, they worked at Computer Curriculum Corporation (now Pearson Education Technologies) on a team that created and delivered "Abecedarium," a kid's fantasy world game. In 1998, they worked as a Software Consultant at GuestLink, building their hotel information system. From 2007 to 2008, they worked at Emagineering as a Software Consultant, working on web technologies for the property management industry. From 2008 to 2010, they worked at Smart Solutions as part of the Engineering Team, managing projects and clients, developing requirements, and developing software. In 2012, they co-founded Wild Red Holdings LLC, a startup company delivering emergency first responder service and helicopter air medical transport to the Exuma Islands in the Bahamas. In 2013, they co-founded UbiModo LLC, a startup company to build a freemium model cloud-based service delivered via native mobile apps and responsive browser applications. From 2015 to 2017, they worked as the Owner and Technologist at nTouch, focusing on technical and business systems analysis and design, development planning, team development, team leadership, strategic relationships, and funding acquisition. Finally, in 2017, they became the Chief Evangelist of Really Neat Stuff at Improvisations, focusing on delivering internal technology and process improvements to increase the happiness and effectiveness of their staff.

Steve Minar graduated from the University of California, Davis in 1984 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Mathematics.
