Julia Cecchetti

Julia Cecchetti is a seasoned propulsion engineer with extensive experience in the aerospace industry. Currently serving as a Senior Propulsion Engineer at Impulse Space since November 2025, Julia previously held various engineering roles at SpaceX from April 2020 to November 2025, including Components Engineer II and several positions focused on propulsion development, particularly the Raptor engine, as well as internships in different areas such as Dragon Propulsion and Thermal Control. Julia began her career with an internship at GE Transportation in 2018. Julia holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State Erie, The Behrend College, obtained between 2018 and 2020.
