Ryan Erickson

Ryan Erickson is a Lead Manufacturing Engineer at Impulse Space, responsible for guiding a team in the production of the Helios kick stage, focusing on sheet metal fabrication and tank assembly from December 2023 to February 2025. Prior to this role, Ryan served as a Manufacturing Development Engineer at ABL Space Systems and a Build Engineer at Aerojet Rocketdyne, where contributions included the planning and assembly of the main injector for NASA's RS-25 rocket engine for the Artemis program. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering Technology from UC San Diego Jacobs School of Engineering and prior studies at San Diego Mesa College in Engineering. Additional experience encompasses tutoring engineering graphics and design concepts and an internship where Ryan developed an innovative turbomachinery design.
