Yann Deval is an accomplished academic with extensive experience in the field of microelectronics and electrical engineering. From September 1995 to August 2004, Yann served as an Associate Professor at the University of Bordeaux - IXL Lab. Following this, Yann held the position of Directeur des Etudes at ENSEIRB-MATMECA from 2006 until September 2011. Yann has been a Professor at the University of Bordeaux - IMS Lab since September 2004 and held the role of Directeur at IMS Laboratory from January 2016 to December 2021. In addition, Yann leads the Devices, Circuits and Systems Department. Educational credentials include a PhD from Université de Bordeaux, a Doctorat de philosophie in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and an Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches (HDR) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Université de Bordeaux.
