David Jansing

David Jansing is a Principal Algorithm Engineer and Subject Matter Expert in synthetic aperture radar (SAR) processing and algorithms, with over 20 years of experience in signal and image processing, data analysis, and machine learning. Jansing has held positions at prominent organizations, including the FBI, Eastman Kodak, and The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory, and currently leads algorithm development for IMSAR. As an instructor at Johns Hopkins University, they teach courses on SAR signal processing. Jansing has authored a textbook on SAR and has received multiple awards for excellence in research, including the 2008 R. W. Hart Prize. They earned a PhD in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Louisville and have also been recognized for exceptional online course design.
