Kim Collins

Kim Collins currently serves as the Director of Academics and Instructor at IMSE Orton-Gillingham, a position held since September 2016. Prior experience includes working as an Implementation Specialist for the NC Department of Public Instruction from January 2015 to May 2018, and a long tenure at Rowan-Salisbury Schools as a Reading Specialist and Teacher from August 2000 to January 2015. Earlier career experience includes teaching at Cabarrus County Schools from August 1995 to July 2000. Kim Collins holds a Master's degree in Literacy from American College of Education, a Reading Certification for grades K-12 from UNCC, and a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education (K-6) from Appalachian State University.
