Jack Schorsch

Jack Schorsch began their professional career in 1998 as a student at Tulane University. In 2002, they moved to the Loyola University Medical Center as a Research Engineer. In 2007, they joined the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago (RIC) as a Research Manager, where they were responsible for overseeing the IMES implantable myoelectric stimulator and establishing a cGLP system. In 2011, they began their PhD Candidate studies at Delft University of Technology, where they focused on prosthetics and exoskeleton design. In 2015, they became the CEO of Innovative Mechatronic Systems, where they aimed to revolutionize the world of gearbox design with their new Archimedes Drive.

Jack Schorsch completed their Bachelor of Science in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Tulane University between 1998 and 2002. Jack then went on to pursue a Master of Science in Medical Device and Diagnostic Engineering at the University of Southern California in 2006. Following that, they received their Master of Engineering in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the same institution in 2007. Finally, they earned their Doctor of Philosophy in Biomechanical Engineering from Delft University of Technology between 2011 and 2015.
