Christian Arentsen

Christian Arentsen has a diverse work experience. Christian started working as an Instructor for Introduction to IT at the University of Southern Denmark in 2015, where they prepared tasks, gave lectures, and answered questions. Christian continued their involvement with the university as an Instructor, Mentor, and Instructor for Fundamental Software Engineering, providing guidance and teaching to software engineering students.

In 2016, Christian joined Kofoed & Co ApS as a Software Developer, working on a queue solution for job centers and municipalities. Christian also worked as a Student Assistant at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Southern Denmark, managing budgets and project information for research projects.

In 2017, Christian pursued a Master's thesis in collaboration with Praqma, focusing on data visualization and traceability in continuous delivery workflows. Christian also worked as a Fitness Instructor at CorePower - Min Massør, leading core muscle group exercises for groups of up to 16 people.

Christian joined cVation in 2018 as a Software Engineer, primarily working on their financial platform called IMTC. Christian gained experience with various technologies within Azure and worked on a microservice architecture on Microsoft Azure.

In 2020, Christian worked as a System Software Developer at PensionDanmark, contributing to the development of their system. Christian then returned to cVation in 2021 and continued as a Software Engineer until 2022.

Most recently, in 2022, Christian joined IMTC as a Senior Developer, taking on a senior role in the development team.

Christian Arentsen completed their education in software engineering, earning a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Software Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Southern Denmark in 2016. Following this, they pursued further specialization by obtaining a Master of Science (MSc) in Software Engineering from the same institution, which they completed in 2018. Prior to their university studies, Christian Arentsen completed their General Certificate of Secondary Education in Mathematics at Slagelse Gymnasium in 2012.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Christian Arentsen also obtained a certification in the Weber Winter Grill Course in 2017 from Weber-Stephen Products LLC.
