Derek Stern

Derek Stern has extensive work experience in various roles related to sourcing, purchasing, and operations in the marine and manufacturing industries. Derek is currently the Director of Sourcing at IMTRA Corporation, where they focus on importing marine products and supporting all aspects of the operations process. Prior to this, Derek worked as the Purchasing Director at TILT Holdings. Derek previously spent 15 years at Imtra Corporation, where they held the role of Director of Operations and played a key role in the development and distribution of LED lighting for the marine markets. Before that, they worked as a North American Account Manager at Charoen Pokphand Group and as a Sourcing Manager at XY Group, where they served as an agent between US brands and their contracted manufacturer in Asia.

Derek Stern earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) from Saint Leo University from 2003 to 2006. Prior to that, they studied Oceanography, Chemical and Physical at Humboldt State University from 1990 to 1993. Derek also attended Duke University - The Fuqua School of Business in 2019, where they focused on Organizational Leadership.
