Roy Abel

Roy Abel has worked in various roles since 2013. Roy began their career as a Software Engineer and Team Lead for the Israel Defence Forces (IDF) from 2013 to 2018. From 2018 to 2019, they worked as a Researcher at Bar-Ilan University. From 2019 to 2020, they worked as a Deep Learning Research & Algorithms specialist at Imubit. Most recently, they have been a Researcher at the Weizmann Institute of Science since 2020.

Roy Abel completed a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Bar-Ilan University in 2013. Roy then returned to Bar-Ilan University and completed two Masters of Science degrees, one in Financial Mathematics in 2017 and one in Data Science in 2019. Roy is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Mathematics and Computer Science at the Weizmann Institute of Science, which they are expected to complete in 2024.
